IVY LEAUGE 2026 MATCH
In July 2026, BUAC hosted 60 athletes from Cornell and Penn. Staying over the 4th of July weekend in our own students housing in Selly Oak, we further developed our ties with the Ivy League, making friends with students across America.
Lapworth Reception
Upon arrival, the University hosted a drinks reception at the Lapworth Museum, all Cornell and Penn students as well students from the BUAC outgoing and incoming committees.
The Match
The next day, students from a combined Cornell and Penn team took on a strong BUAC contingent in the traditional Ivy League Exchange match. Friends of BUAC as well as Alumni were also invited to compete in what was a smooth and successful competition, with the combined Ivy Team taking the overall win.
Student BBQ
Following the Match, students headed to Selly Hill Park for a BBQ.
Ivy League Dinner
On the final night, a formal dinner took place at The Exchange in the city centre. All Ivy League students and staff, a number of BUAC students and staff, as well as Alumni and University leaders were present to celebrate the 250th anniversary of US independence.
Following a memorable 2026 exchange, BUAC looks forward to hosting Harvard and Yale in June 2027!
